Security Interest Group
The Security Interest Group, chaired by System Computing Services, provides a forum for campus and SCS system and network administrators to share information about system and network security topics of interest to NSHE institutions. Regular meetings feature talks on security topics presented by group members. The SIG also hosts guest speakers and vendor presentations.
The committee typically meets via statewide video conference. The schedule varies somewhat with speaker and video conference room availability. Employees of NevadaNet member institutions and agencies may join the announcement mailing list for the Security Interest Group. To be added to the announcement mailing list or to volunteer to present a topic, please email the SCS Service Desk.
